First take the gram/Moong Dal and wash it well and soak it in water for 4 hours. Take the rice flour and keep it aside. Here's how to make rice flour at home. First wash the rice and soak it in water for 8-12 hours. Then strain the water and dry it on a cloth. When the moisture dries up and the rice is a little dry, grind it and hold the flour. The flour should be sprinkled and dried in a plate, if it is dried for 4 hours, the rice flour will last for many days. Otherwise they are likely to get damaged if they are slightly wet. So it is better to dry it. This drying makes these snacks crunchy and crispy, crackling. Those who cannot make rice flour at home can buy rice flour outside.
Wash the green chillies and grind them into a paste. Now take a wide bowl and put rice flour in it and add enough salt, sesame seeds and green chilli paste to taste. Strain the water from the soaked Pesaran / Moong Dal, wash the Moong Dal once and add it to the rice flour. Mix well first. After that add little water and mix the flour into a lump and make a smooth dough.
First light the stove and put it on medium flame and put a kadai. After the kadai heats up a little, pour oil in it and heat the oil on a large flame. After heating the oil well, take some of the dough/flour kept aside and make it round like a papad and drop it in the oil. After frying well, turn the other side and let it burn/fry. After it turns red and cooks well, take out the sticks/snacks with a slotted spoon/Jalli Garita/ a large spoon with holes and keep the snacks aside.
